Katherine Torres-Fornos, professionally known as Novella Torres, is an American actress, writer and entertainer as well as an Intimacy Coordinator. Born and raised in the Portland/Beaverton area of Oregon, Novella spent her education studying various art forms at the option school, Arts and Communication Magnet Academy. Her time at the Magnet school gave her a good foundation in the following art forms: ballet, tap, jazz, modern dance, acting, photography and creative writing. 

In 2014 Novella moved from her easy-going home state to the busy streets of New York. Her time in New York has allowed for honing and crafting her art as an actress while also continuing to find her voice as a writer. As a writer Novella found her style through roleplay groups on forums such as tumblr. Since then Novella has written several poems and scripts of her own creation, including her directorial debut Lover, Take Me With You.

Among her many loves, Novella found a deep passion and love for pole dancing. Initially the sport was meant to be a means of not going to the gym, but after several years of practice Novella has gone on to perform in shows as well as feature in films as a pole dancer.

Being a bisexual women of color herself, Novella makes it a high priority of hers to voice issues and create stories to represent the unrepresented in Hollywood. 

Novella hopes to eventually create her own production company and continue to create content that will reach to mass audiences of various genders, races and sexualities.
